沿革

1983年6月 ： 英国TSL社と三菱金属(株)(当時)との合弁会社、日本高純度石英(株) 設立
1984年10月 ： 秋田工場 (現：秋田事業所) 生産開始
1991年10月 ： 三菱マテリアル(株)の100％子会社として三菱マテリアルクォーツ(株)に社名変更
1996年3月 ： 第2工場竣工
1996年5月 ： ISO9002認証取得 (後にISO9001：2000へ更新)
1999年7月 ： 第3工場竣工
11月 ： ISO14001認証取得
2002年1月 ： 300mm単結晶引上用ルツボ製造設備増設
2月 ： 株式会社SUMCO(当時、三菱住友シリコン(株))の100％子会社ジャパンスーパークォーツ(株)として新スタート
2007年8月 ： JISHA方式適格OSHMS認定取得
June 1983 ： Japan High Purity Silica Corporation formed as a joint venture between Britain's TSL Group plc. and the then Mitsubishi Metals Corporation
October 1984 ： Commence production at Akita Plant (currently, the Akita Division)
October 1991 ： Name Changed to Mitsubishi Materials Quartz Corporation, and made a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Materials Corporation
March 1996 ： Second plant completed
May 1996 ： Acquired ISO9002 certification ( Later updated to ISO9001:2000)
July 1999 ： Third plant comleted
November 1999 ： Acquired ISO14001 certification
January 2002 ： Expanded facilities for manufacturing crucibles for 300 mm single crystal pullers
February 2002 ： Commence operation as Japan Super Quartz Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SUMCO CORPORATION
August 2007 ： JISHA OSHMS Standards certification
